Important Information Regarding Flower Delivery

We offer fresh flower delivery throughout Toronto and the GTA.

We offer delivery throughout Toronto and parts of the GTA to the following postal code areas for a flat rate of $17. We have broken down our delivery areas by postal code.   For a detailed list, please click here.

DELIVERY TIMES FOR ORDERS PLACED AT LEAST ONE DAY IN ADVANCE

Standard delivery times are as follows:

• Businesses: Between 9am - 5pm
• Residences: Between 9am - 7pm

DELIVERY TIMES FOR SAME DAY DELIVERY

Standard delivery times are as follows:

• Businesses: Between 1pm - 5pm
• Residences: Between 1pm - 7pm

If you need your order to arrive at a specific time and you are ordering more than 24 hours in advance, you have the option to add this to your order at an additional cost.    If you would like your order delivered at a specific time, please specify that in your delivery instructions and we will send you a digital invoice for the charge (normally $10 + HST)  

GENERAL INFO & SAME-DAY DELIVERY

We have two delivery services we work with. 

In the core of Toronto, all our drivers are in-house and work directly for our shop.   This means we have greater control over our routes, and can ensure that your arrangement is carefully handled throughout the delivery process.

In the areas further from the shop, we use a third-party service, which is a collective of drivers, working together to pickup from flower shops, across the city, bringing all the flowers to one central depot and then distributing from there.   

Both services are excellent.   Our in-house driver has been with us for nearly a decade, and our third-party service has been trusted throughout Toronto and the GTA for decades.   

Same-Day orders must be received by 11:00am in order for us to have time to make the arrangement and have it ready for pick-up.   Same day delivery for major holidays, such as Valentine's are rarely available. 

When same-day orders are received after 11:00am, we can accommodate them on a case-by-case basis.   Local deliveries, within the neighbourhood, are usually delivered by our staff, time permitting.   Outside the Roncesvalles area, we have various couriers available, at an additional cost.   Please contact us for details.   We will always do our best to help.

DELIVERIES TO CONDOS & OFFICES

Often our delivery service is not permitted to deliver directly to your recipient if they are in a secured building.    The flowers are left with reception, the security desk, or concierge, and they will deliver them to the door, or inform the recipient that there is a delivery to pick up at the front desk.

"WILL YOU CALL AHEAD?"

No, we do not call in advance of arrival.   There are a number of reasons for this.  Primarily, it would be logistically impossible to coordinate times with every person receiving flowers.  This is especially true for our third-party delivery service, who are dealing with dozens of shops across the GTA. 

Our drivers can not properly navigate the city in a clear, efficient route, if they were trying to work with each and every person receiving flowers. 

Secondly, we have received complaints that we "ruined the surprise" when we did try to call in advance.  

In a nutshell, we don't call ahead.

"HAS MY ORDER BEEN DELIVERED?"

One of our most commonly asked questions is "has my order been delivered yet?".   We are in the test stages of a delivery confirmation system, that will provide you with confirmation of delivery via email.   You are more than welcome to contact the shop for an update on your delivery, however, it is often safe to say that no news is good news.

"WHAT IF THE PERSON IS NOT HOME?"

Not to worry.   This does happen and we always deal with it accordingly.   If weather permits, we will leave the delivery on their porch, or other preferred location, if indicated on the order.   The driver will contact the shop to let us know, so we are kept informed if your order is not handed directly to someone.  

In colder situations, the arrangement may be left with a neighbour and a message left with the recipient so they know who to contact.    If this option isn't available, the flowers are returned to the shop and we will follow up with the recipient to make arrangements with them.

DELIVERIES DURING PEAK HOLIDAYS 

During peak floral holidays (ie. Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day), often our deliveries must be picked up the day before.   If this is the case, same-day deliveries may not always be available and we will cut off deliveries through the online system at a specified time.  

If you see that deliveries are not available, store pick-up is often still available, or, we can try to make arrangements with a courier service, if necessary.    In these cases, we ask that you contact the shop to review options.   We will do our best to help, whenever possible.
