WE ARE HIRING

Sweetpea's is a "Living Wage" employer.  A living wage is not the same as the minimum wage; which is the legislated minimum all employers must pay, set by the provincial government. A 'Living Wage' reflects what someone needs to earn to cover the actual costs of living in their community. Sweetpea's offers a rate of pay, as well as health benefits, that allows our team to cover the costs of living within Toronto, without having to take on additional jobs.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Qualified applicants will be asked to come in for a design test, where you will be asked to make 2-3 bouquets/vase arrangements.

Mostly we are looking for proper mechanics, design-style is something that will evolve in time. We know this can be a little nerve racking, but, mostly, we want to meet you and see if you’re a good fit with the team. We also want you to be sure you want to work with us, the same way we want to work with you.

Depending on how the design test goes, we will have a brief interview with one of our management team where we can talk about the role, set expectations, and review any questions you may have.

Please note, we are not looking for someone new to the floral industry. Sadly, as much as we would love to train you, we just don't have the time to start from scratch. We need someone who can hit the ground running.
